Advancements in ceramic technology have created a super-ceramic that enables vitreous china to be shaped into beautifully refined, slim-walled basins with uncompromising durability.
Developed by Kohler, one of the world’s largest bathroom specialists, the new Mica basin is a countertop vessel basin with super slim walls, just 6mm thick, and a CleanCoat stain-resistant coating. Featuring perfect proportions, the Mica basin is designed to be used with statement hob-mounted taps such as Kohler’s award-winning Composed range.
Perfectly complementing any style of bathroom or ensuite, Mica basins are built for durable performance with the deceptively delicate appearance of the thin walls concealing a tough construction - the new basins are 1.5 times harder than traditional vitreous china.
Kohler’s DFI CleanCoat finish creates an invisible stain-resistant surface that ensures the basin retains its original glossy, pristine good looks after many years of use.
The Mica vessel basin comes in two designs: a 393mm square basin and a 410mm diameter round version.
