Formica, part of the Laminex Group , continues to break new ground, introducing 28 new decors, textures and finishes to its already already extensive Formica Colour Range.
Formica is well known for delivering contemporary styling design options that enhance living and working environs. The introductions have been specifically targeted at the needs of the growing residential area for both domestic and commercial applications.
“The Formica brand offers innovative and fashionable choice of colour and material combinations to create any look or feel,” says the sales and marketing manager. “The new looks pre-empt changes that are being signalled on the international market.”
The increasing importance of natural and subdued effects is currently a major driver in the creation of familiar and inviting environments. This is reflected with the inclusion of more stone-inspired colours and textures such as the Lava Stone, Autumn Stone and Smoke Quartzite.
In response to the demand for such designs, these designs have been incorporated into the Formica 2003 range release. The recognition of the importance of nature and the handcrafted runs parallel to the look of the artificial and man-made.
Design categories include: stone interpretations, reconstituted stone effects, manmade material looks, optical solids, handcrafted effects and woodgrains.
