Several Australian stadiums rely on Leda Security Products to provide a ring of protection around the building.
Leda has successfully won multi-million dollar contracts at many of Australia’s leading stadiums to supply and install physical perimeter security and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) protection.
Leda’s latest project at the Optus Stadium Perth saw the installation of certified high impact resistant bollards and barriers. Engaged by the stadium builders Multiplex and WA’s Department of Main Roads, Leda also supplied a range of automated Vehicular Access Control (VAC) products for installation at various locations.
The project scope also included the supply of numerous LEDA semi-automatic retractable bollards (power assist) across various vehicle access roads. Normally remaining in a retracted position, the bollards can be raised to limit vehicular access during events. By selecting semi-automatic retractable bollards over fully automated systems, the clients were able to save several hundreds of thousands of dollars on the project.
Leda also installed a number of special large boom gates (up to 12m wide) to limit and allow controlled vehicular access.
