Leda Security Products has developed a new range of bollards that meet the demand for environmentally-friendly products. Called Enviro, they are recycled plastic bollards for architectural and environmentally-sensitive applications.
The range was developed to meet the immediate need of Sydney’s Auburn Council which is active in a variety of environmental and heritage initiatives. The Council is in the process of replacing deteriorating fencing surrounding parks and gardens and sought an environmentally-friendly product that was also affordable.
Manufactured from solid recycled UV-resistant HDPE, Leda’s Enviro recycled plastic bollards are available in black and dark green. Since the colour is integral, the finish will not chip, flake or show the visible deterioration of a painted finish.
