Louvreclad partnered with Kane Constructions to create a unique facade solution for the state-of-the-art $33 million Clifton Hill TLC Aged Care in Fitzroy North VIC. The bespoke architectural solution consisting of vertical louvres will cover all four sides of the aged care facility.
Located on busy Queens Parade in Clifton Hill, Melbourne, the 10-level TLC Integrated Health Care Hub won international praise at the Over 50s Global Housing Awards in 2016 by taking out ‘The Most Innovative Aged Care Housing Design Globally’ award.
The care hub will offer a TLC café, gym, physiotherapy, primary health care and pathology services in addition to residential ageing in place for up to 127 residents.
Louvreclad’s scope of work covers design, manufacture and installation of 4417 lineal metres of the vertically designed Louvreclad Wickham Series, a 200mm ellipsoid blade system with high impact resistance and long-lasting durability. With the design brief seeking a clay terracotta look, Louvreclad provided four gorgeous colours from their powdercoat range to achieve this unique and bespoke effect.
