Miele Australia has announced the imminent introduction of its new refrigerator/freezer combination on the Australian market.
The refrigerator/freezer combination comprises two separate units, the K 855 iD-1 refrigerator and F 456 i-2 freezer, designed to be fully integrated into suitable kitchen cabinets.
The K 855 iD-1 refrigerator, which has a six star Australian energy rating, is both efficient and environmentally friendly, according to the manufacturer.
Its DynaCool function ensures the cold air inside the refrigerator is evenly distributed throughout the 259 litre compartment. Electronically controlled, the refrigerator has digital temperature display to provide instant and accurate information for the user.
While the interior design features seven tempered glass shelves, two of which are height adjustable, two bottle racks and two fruit and vegetable containers along with butter/cheese compartments, a butter container and egg tray allow adequate space for all refrigeration needs.
The matching Miele F 456 i-2 freezer boasts a 5.5 star energy rating and features a generous 156 litre capacity.
Each of the six freezer drawers features a transparent front eliminating guesswork. Each freezer drawer also features its own evaporator, resulting in rapid freezing capabilities that are particularly effective when combined with the practical SuperFrost function.
Miele Australia is expecting this appliance combination to be available for local deliveries from December, 2004. The introductory selling price for the K 855 iD-1 refrigerator is $ 2199 and the F 456 i-2 freezer is $1999.
