Extra high playground swings from Moduplay Commercial Play Systems were recently installed at the old site of the Sydney Water Police. The Pyrmont wharf has been changed into a refuge for families and an adventure playground for all children, regardless of age.
The designers of the playground were Fiona Robbe Landscape Architects and ASPECT Studios, and the site has since won the NSW State Award Certificate of Recognition from the Australian Parks and Leisure Association.
Moduplay provided the designers with extra high playground swings, evocative of graceful swings of days gone by and the entire play area has been designed to make use of the natural surroundings. Since the installation, the extra high playground swings have been seen to be enjoyed by adults alongside their children and grandchildren.
2 sets of extra high playground swings from Moduplay were installed, and the swingset with the infant seats was made to a lower height.
