Mitsubishi ALPOLIC NC/A1, a fire-safe, fully compliant aluminium composite cladding was selected for the recladding of the Oran Park Podium shopping centre in Sydney’s South West.
Oran Park is a rapidly developing community precinct and part of the NSW Government’s South West Sydney Growth Area. Oran Park Podium, which is located in the retail and commercial heart of the town, offers a variety of speciality stores, restaurants, cafes, one of NSW’s largest Woolworths, and beauty, gym and gift stores among others.
In late 2021, the extensive facade was reclad with 4,320m² of Mitsubishi ALPOLIC NC/A1 in Off-White, White, Manganese Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Medium Bronze Metallic, and Black.
Mitsubishi ALPOLIC NC/A1 aluminium composite cladding is composed of a non-combustible mineral core containing zero polyethylene. It offers superior flatness (no wavy oil canning) and the Lumiflon FEVE paint technology coating ensures exceptional durability and protection from UV radiation, water, salt, and hail. ALPOLIC’s colour and gloss retention is unmatched and will continue to remain vibrant for many years to come.
Mitsubishi ALPOLIC is currently the only aluminium composite panel in Australia to have an Environmental Product Declaration produced by GECA, and a 20-year full cover manufacturer’s warranty, which includes materials, labour and rectification costs, and requires no cleaning to maintain the warranty.
