In 2005, Nullarbor Sustainable Timber were asked to supply specified recycled timbers to Locks Constructions for the Brambuk Living Cultural Centre based in the Grampians National Park, Halls Gap, Victoria.
Timber became the main feature of the interior and exterior of the building as it fits into the natural landscape of rolling hills.
A combination of Recycled Wandoo for internal flooring and Jarrah for external decking resulted in a brilliant end product without any negative environmental impact and as a result this construction won the prestigious 2007 Excellence in Constructions Master Builders Award for Commercial Buildings under $5M.
