The tapered handrail entry box is designed with safety in mind and the specially developed deflectors ensure that only the handrail enters the critical zone. The safety switch is located behind the handrail entry box which protects against causal interference.
A heavier duty step-chain enables the LINK escalator to meet high-rise applications and multi-function operation panels at the upper and lower landings provide key access and visual indication of running status, recent history and, if necessary, fault diagnosis.
Fitted with highly efficient gear systems and machines The LINK escalator is able to reduce energy consumption, and operational costs.
Detected traffic flows allow the Variable Frequency Control System to adjust the escalator’s speed and output. The adjustment in speed ensures passenger safety, conserves energy and reduces running costs.
