Outdure deck frames and decking were selected for a challenging installation at AECOM House in Auckland, New Zealand.
Located on Auckland’s waterfront, AECOM House, designed by Woodhams Meikle Zhan Architects (WMZA), is a landmark commercial building featuring a large deck space that offers expansive harbour views. A major challenge in this commercial fitout was the need to meet compliance requirements for installing decking over the waterproof membrane on the roof as well as delivering materials to the high-rise balcony.
The accessibility issue was resolved by supplying lightweight QwickBuild made-to-measure custom frames. QwickBuild also fully complies with all requirements for installation over waterproof membranes.
Outdure’s EcoDecking in Almond colour was installed over QwickBuild deck framing on a 145-square-metre area.
