Palram was recently involved in a community outreach initiative with the company donating their SUNTUF sheets to the Beit Elisha Adult Special Needs & Rehabilitative Community in Harduf, Israel.
Contributed as part of Palram’s ongoing Community Involvement Program, the corrugated polycarbonate sheets were used to construct a gathering and recreational pergola adjacent to the community’s gardening patch. Gardening is a major part of the housing and rehabilitative community program that supports about 70 special needs people.
This unique program enables community members to communicate, express themselves through craftwork and gardening activities, and live as independently as possible. The SUNTUF covered shed serves as a social gathering location as well as a shaded resting place for community members.
