Palruf Durashield from Palram Australia was specified for the roofing project at a major Australian fertiliser plant.
Palram supplied over 7500 square metres of Durashield Industrial Rib 2mm in Beige for Stage 1 of the project. Palram also secured Stage 2 of the roofing project at the plant. The entire recladding project is being executed over a period of 5-6 years in about 6-7 stages to enable plant operations to continue during the period.
Approximately 8000 square metres of Durashield profiled PVC sheets will be used in each stage of the project.
Durashield was specified for the project for its non-corrosive characteristics as well as long-term product durability. Maintenance programs were also put in place to ensure long-term performance of the roofing material.
Durashield is also being installed at Whitfert Fertilizer in Western Australia, with the recladding project also being executed in a staged manner.
