Sky Blue in colour, the Durafloor SL coating system from Parbury Technologies is a central feature of the store’s décor, mixing eye-catching appeal for shoppers with the high performance wear characteristics of an industrial floor.
The Durafloor system was chosen because of its durability, abrasion resistance and wear strength, enabling it to cope with high traffic volumes. Its availability in a range of colours and non-slip finishes also added aesthetic flair and safety features to the busy fashion centre.
As part of the Roxy installation, the Durafloor SL surface finish was applied over a priming system of Nitomortar 903, designed to penetrate into the concrete, enhancing the strength and impact-resistance of the concrete floor while inceasing the Durafloor’s bond strength.
