PILA group® will be presenting an informative trade display at the 2013 AFL Victoria Local Government Forum on the 24 May 2013 at the ME Bank Centre, Punt Rd, Richmond VIC.
Organised by AFL Victoria, the event is designed to acknowledge the significant contribution made by Local Government to football across Victoria and provide information and networking opportunities to assist in planning and development work within a municipality. The event is supported by the AFL, AFL SportsReady and the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.
Suitable for a range of Council representatives from CEOs and Mayors to Councillors, Senior Management and Recreation Department staff, the event has invited two representatives from each Council.
There will be interviews, keynote speakers and round table discussion workshops with topics including Australia’s Game and Victoria’s Role, The Evolution of AFL Victoria and the Current State of Play, The Local Volunteer Perspective, The Economic Impact of Football, Football Facilities, Club Capacity Education and Training and Female Football.
Speakers will include Grant Williams (General Manager AFL Victoria and MC of Forum), Peter Jackson (Chair AFL Victoria), Grant Williams (General Manager AFL Victoria), Andrew Demetriou (CEO AFL), Shayne Ward and Ricky Bell (AFL Victoria), Bachar Houli (Current Richmond AFL Player) and the 2012 AFL Victoria volunteer of the Year Trish Marson (President, Noble Park Football Club Juniors).
