The Expona SimpLay vinyl flooring from Polyflor was showcased on the runway at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Carriageworks, Sydney NSW.
Polyflor was a sponsor of the Daniel Avakian show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Bespoke PR reached out to Polyflor as they required flooring that could be installed quickly and removed easily without damaging the existing flooring at the venue. Expona SimpLay in Natural Rustic Pine 2514 was installed by Xtreme Floorcoverings.
SimpLay is a loose lay product designed for fast installation without the use of adhesives; this also means the flooring can be removed without leaving any residue.
Since the runway flooring also needed to complement designer Daniel Avakian’s clothing collection titled ‘Transcendence’, Natural Rustic Pine 2514 was chosen for the purpose as it provided a very natural raw wood look backdrop to the collection.
