Australian cable and hose reels specialist ReCoila Reels was included as an industry exhibitor at the recent AFAC and Bushfire CRC Conference held in Perth.
AFAC is recognised for grouping the heads of all the fire organisations and firefighting personnel. ReCoila was able to showcase its industry-specific technology at a trade show area within the event and show support for the firefighting and emergency sector.
ReCoila’s Managing Director, Mr Michael Pawson explains that there are only a small number of exhibitors specialising in their respective fields. AFAC members understand that ReCoila has been working hard for many years collaborating to develop firefighting related technology with the company now being recognised for designing and manufacturing durable cable and hose reels used for many safety and emergency applications.
According to Mr Pawson, fire safety is a serious issue, not just in the mining sector but right across Australia as general community safety comes into the reckoning as well as isolated mining operations.
The AFAC and Bushfire CRC Conference is Australasia’s premier emergency management conference, which aims to address key issues facing this sector and contributes to a knowledge sharing and learning culture within fire, land management and emergency service agencies.
ReCoila manufactures an extensive range of Australian made hoses, cords and cable reels.
