Rubber surfaces of Decoflex D sports flooring and Playflex Safety Tiles from Rephouse have been installed at a private school in Ukraine.
The recycled rubber surfaces make up the schools’ basketball and multipurpose sports court, the five-lane sprint track, and the playground.
Decoflex D is a prefabricated rubber sports flooring system, which has been engineered for all weather sports uses. It can be used anywhere – schools, clubs, colleges, universities and public facilities.
It is able to be optimised for any outdoor sports requirement and is available in various thicknesses. The top rubber surface is a highly durable, coloured synthetic EPDM rubber.
The rubber surface is versatile, wears extremely well and is almost maintenance free. It enables slide control and is slip resistant.
It comes in a range of colours to match any need.
The Decoflex sports flooring has been used world-wide, most notable is that of the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Playflex Safety Tiles in basic green were used for the Ukraine school’s playground. The rubber safety tiles are designed to take away the shock of a child falling from heights.
The safety tiles are available in a range of models and sizes and come in a large number of colours to suit any setting.
Rubber surfaces are a terrific alternative to traditional surfaces such as gravel, sand, wood chips, concrete, asphalt or soil, which can actually be a danger to children.
All rubber surfaces from Rephouse are environmentally safe.
The natural anti-slip properties of both Decoflex D and Playflex mean children, and adults, can play safely in rain or shine.
