Concrete Tilt-Up panels have become an increasingly accepted construction method offering speedy installation and cost savings. BCA require adequate thermal insulation of these constructions and developers want to maximise internal space – making these membrane type insulation products highly sought-after as they achieve both aims.
Rondo's new 282 Direct Fix Clip features a fixed tab, which holds the insulation at the required 20mm from the inside face of the concrete panel.
The Rondo 129 Furring Channel is then clipped into place and the plasterboard lining screw fixed. The design of the clip therefore ensuring the correct gap is maintained between the membrane and the inside of the lining board.
