Available in a choice of natural gas or LPG, Cannon freestanding gas log heaters feature a standalone design with standard flue arrangements, allowing installation against a combustible wall in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended clearances. There is no need to fix the heater to the floor as it can simply sit atop all floor surfaces.
Cannon freestanding gas log heaters are available in two models: The Canterbury Classic (CANTFS-SDEEB) and, the Fitzroy Profile Freestanding Kit (FITZFSKITX-B), which converts the Fitzroy Profile Inbuilt heater (FITZIB-SDENB) into a freestanding heater.
Standard features in both gas log heater models include elegant black finish with realistic eucalypt-look logs; electronic ignition and controls; three heat and fan speed settings; four continuously monitored safety systems; double glazed window providing an unobstructed view of the flames; high efficiency and heat output with capacity to heat spaces up to 80m²; and 4 star energy rating (Canterbury Classic)/ 3.6 star energy rating (Fitzroy Profile).
The Canterbury Classic measures H 723 mm x W 650 mm x D 425 mm while Fitzroy Profile has a slightly bigger presence at H 863 mm x W 808 mm x D 482 mm.
Canterbury Classic Freestanding Gas Heater
The Canterbury Classic freestanding gas heater offers the option of a remote thermostat kit with an easy-to-read LCD display. The device provides the convenience of 28 programmable periods along with manual and automatic modes and can be connected to an automated system such as C-bus. Safety features include a child lock on the thermostat and the option of a mesh guard kit for added protection.
Fitzroy Profile Freestanding Kit
The Fitzroy Profile Freestanding Kit includes a pedestal, outer casing and flue kit, and converts the Fitzroy Profile Inbuilt heater (FITZIB-SDENB) into a freestanding heater. Featuring clean lines, the design also includes a panoramic view of the flame.
In terms of installation, the maximum flue length is 4.5 while the minimum distance from the rear of the heater to the wall is 40mm. The total minimum depth from the front of the heater to the wall is 490mm.
