Globally recognised manufacturer of heating and cooling solutions, Seeley International was honoured with the 2017 Department of Manufacturing Export Award during the Business SA Export Awards held recently in Adelaide. The multi-award winning Australian manufacturer also received the Qatar Airways Exporter of the Year at the same event.
Seeley International will next compete as a national finalist in the 55th Australian Export Awards for an Australian Industry Award, including the coveted Australian Exporter of the Year Award. The national awards will be announced on 5th December 2017.
Seeley International Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM FAICD, said developing highly-innovative and super energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions for local and export markets underpins the manufacturer’s strategic goal of becoming a billion-dollar company.
Mr Seeley explained that export activities had been a key focus for Seeley International for over thirty years, beginning with taking the world's first all-plastic portable evaporative air conditioner to Iraq before expanding to USA and Europe. Seeley International now exports to more than 120 countries around the world through a network of exclusive distributors and strategic industry alliances, and has branch offices in the USA, UK, France, Italy and South Africa.
Pushing the envelope further, Seeley International recently unveiled their ground-breaking Climate Wizard CW3 Dual System, a revolutionary heating and cooling product that embraces the award-winning pedigree of Climate Wizard technology. The system’s unique way of heating and cooling a home has created a brand new category of air conditioning at half the running cost of a reverse cycle system performing the same duty.
According to Mr Seeley, the company’s dedication to innovation through the highest standards of research, engineering and manufacturing as well as an unwavering commitment to customer service excellence, all combine to deliver the best possible heating and cooling systems, above and beyond the expectations of energy-conscious consumers.
Observing that more than a quarter of a million commercial/ industrial Breezair units have now been installed worldwide, he adds that investment in research and development keeps them well ahead of all competitors.
Committed to the development of all business across South Australia, Seeley International this year also became a sponsor of the inaugural Design for Export Awards, Best Design Strategy Award, which was won by Rising Sun Pictures.
