The PILOT tiered seating from Select Staging Concepts was installed at St Catherine’s School in Toorak during the 2021-22 refurbishment of the old school gymnasium.
The refurbishment, which saw the old gymnasium being transformed into a state-of-the-art Black Box Theatre, demanded a reliable portable tiered seating system that could be reconfigured into any seating arrangement to suit a variety of school events.
Select Staging Concepts’ PILOT modular stage system proved to be the answer. The PILOT tiered seating installation, completed in May this year, featured 10 tiers of 9.6m width for school seating to be placed ready for events. Additionally, we supplied podiums and legs for a sound desk placed at the top of the tiered system.
These tiered podiums may be reconfigured by the school to suit each event – even into smaller banks of seating placed around the performance area, delivering an excellent multifunctional seating solution.
