Smoke Control installed a large fire curtain for a property in West Pymble located in a bushfire prone area and in desperate need for fire protection.
Bushfires can mercilessly destroy properties, buildings and even priceless possessions that insurance cannot cover. However, effective bushfire control can equip the homeowner with their last line of defence using solutions such as fire rated windows and fire curtains.
For the West Pymble property, Smoke Control provided fire protection with a BAL-FZ rating, which was tested to comply with AS3595. A large Fyrehalt FZ (Fire Zone) fire curtain spanning 8.1m W x 2.3m H fully tested in accordance with AS1530.4 for up to 30 minutes with a fire rating of -/30/- was also installed.
