Spantech was commissioned by architects Fairweather Proberts to construct a multipurpose shade structure and complete ancillary works over an existing court at the St Pius X School in Salisbury Qld.
Designed by Fairweather Proberts, the modern structure creates a feeling of space that exceeds the bounds of the small site.
The Spantech arched roof is supported on one side by round galvanised columns, while the other side features counterlever right angled universal beams forming a verandah. The verandah features a full length translucent skylight and timber seating overlooking the playground and oval below.
