Spantech was engaged to design, construct and install a multipurpose shade structure at the Carbrook campus of the Calvary Christian College in Queensland.
The 20 x 20-metre shade structure designed by Spantech provides a multipurpose learning area as well as a safe, weatherproof waiting area at the front of the Carbrook campus.
With the building constructed over a former creek, the installation required extensive ground works, drainage and special footings to ensure a sound, weatherproof structure. Landscaping work was completed by the grounds staff at the College.
