The SPARC International Lighting Event 2015 will be held in Sydney next
year during the first week of Vivid Sydney.
Presented by Australia’s lighting industry, SPARC 2015 will be held at the
Sydney Exhibition Centre, Glebe Island from 27-29 May 2015.
Preparations are now well underway with world-class speakers on topical
lighting subjects being sourced for the event. An exhibition of over 100
Australian and international companies will demonstrate the world’s latest
lighting technologies. All displays will be of an equal size and restricted to
one display per company in keeping with the egalitarian nature of the
exhibition.
The event will culminate in a Gala Dinner with spectacular lighting
theming and entertainment at Sydney Town Hall on 29 May.
A regional conference of light source physicists
will also be held in conjunction with SPARC 2015. The Foundation for the
Advancement of the Science and Technology of Light Sources (FAST-LS) conference
is expected to attract around 200 physicists.
