Infinity Views is a three-storey residential development in Bicton WA that defines modern luxury living. Located on an expansive 730m² block overlooking the Swan River, Infinity Views stands out for its distinctive style, which is reflected in the bright interior spaces, clean-cut detailing and a fluid design tying all its rooms together. Modern stylings seen in the likes of a stunning full-length Infinity edge pool are carefully balanced with industrial overtones exhibited by the exposed ceilings inside.
A frame for a range of palettes
Contributing to this modern finish was the inclusion of EzyJamb frames forming the architectural openings throughout the home. The interior design is intricately weaved through each floor and each room wherein each component visually complements one another. EZ Concept systems fit this mould offering both architectural openings and finishings suited to the fine design of the Infinity Views residence.
Bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors all feature the refined finish of EzyJamb framed openings. With this visual hallmark in a number of spaces in the home, Infinity Views captures a consistently modern visual snapshot. The Single Rebate model creates a minimal finish as the white palette of the walls remains unbroken in each room whilst allowing the door to sit level with the wall from one side of the rebate. Amounting to the ultimate discreet opening, this comes irrespective of the palette and material of the space.
The accomplished interior finish is also met with practicality at every turn. EzyJamb was specified for both left and right handing applications throughout the house. Being that these installations are in commonly used spaces of the house, it was also an important consideration that EzyJamb frames are designed and tested to withstand heavy traffic flow over extended periods.
Complementary architectural features
Elevating the subtle nature of each door opening were concealed hinges paired with the frames. RocYork concealed hinges left no visible barrel or pin exposed to closed doors. These aesthetically unobtrusive hinges allowed for the defined frame of the EzyJamb to remain as the only visible element. This fine architectural detail allows the minimalist design to hold up under close scrutiny. Even whilst the doors are open, the hinges’ white finish perfectly matches their surroundings. This white finish seamlessly extends the bright colouring seen throughout the home in line with the natural light flooding through floor-to-ceiling windows and curved skylight features.
A consistent visual tone
Between door framing and accompanying hardware, EZ Concept systems work together to establish a consistent visual theme. Commanding attention through simplicity, the architectural design of Infinity Views is befitting of its beautiful location. The final result constructed by Capozzi Building has been recognised for its outstanding design across a number of awards:
2021 Building Design Awards – Building Design of the Year
2022 HIA National Awards – Winner of Australian Spec Home
2021 HIA WA Awards – 7x Award Winner
EZ Concept’s input into this spectacular project can be seen in the composition of the space and the ultimate architectural fulfilment of this aesthetic. The EZ Concept team is experienced in delivering results curated to modern design.
