Superior Steel Screens Australia Pty Ltd has launched a 55mm louvre in COLORBOND® slatting, which can add style to commercial or residential premises while also meeting residential privacy regulations.

In States like Victoria, a Residential Code exists where residential and commercial owners are required to protect people’s privacy. In most cases, it is specified that buildings must use a minimum 75% blockage, (or a 25% maximum opening), to the neighbouring property- including screening of windows and yards. This trend in privacy screening is sure to spread across Australia and is already being addressed by Superior Steel Screens through their new louvre product.

Superior Steel Screens’ louvres are made from COLORBOND® and BlueScope steel. At 55mm wide, these louvres screens can be used vertically, horizontally and at differing angles of 0, 30 and 60 degrees. As well as adding privacy, factories find the louvres are also ideal for sun control, while adding style to commercial premises.

Designers and architects are using the Superior Steel Screens’ louvres for privacy functions, even as an option to conventional slat screening on commercial buildings, around air-conditioning plants, bin maintenance and hydrant areas, etc.

Superior Steel Screens’ Australian-made, strong, long-lasting louvers, made from COLORBOND® steel are found as screening for privacy and sun control in gardens, factories, commercial projects and residences across Australia. These Superior Steel Screens are second to none for the following Colorbond steel screening products:

• General and garden screening
