Commercial roller shutters from The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) are available with either manual or electrical operation.
The manually operated option uses a spring loaded control mechanism with the premium grade commercial roller shutters generally key lockable from inside or outside.
The electrical model is operated either through a key switch (to restrict access) or via remote control. For installations with multiple roller shutters, a sequential relay system allows the shutters to be opened or controlled in groups or banks to suit the customer’s specific security requirements.
The shutters can also be wired into the customer’s in-house computer system for extra security. Optional UPS battery backup facilities will safeguard egress in the event of power failure. There are additional options such as logic control units to comply with emergency egress situations.
ATDC’s premium grade commercial roller shutters were installed at Tahmour in the Macarthur region of NSW by Bay Building Services.
