The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed its visually appealing commercial S08 curved folding security doors to secure the curved servery counters at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) Ipswich Campus Café near Brisbane.
Project design specifications
Two custom engineered curved commercial folding doors were supplied to this architect specified project with special radius curves fabricated to traverse the contours of these apertures. Security was achieved through a series of intermediate up/down locks, which facilitate seamless lock up without the need for any removeable floor track.
Whilst a continuous overhead support beam was required to attach the 40mm x 40mm extruded heavy duty top track, virtually no headroom clearance was needed. This is a major advantage when compared to the substantial headroom required to install roller shutters.
Specifying architect
The specifying architect for the project was Wilson Architects based in Spring Hill. The project managers and builders were the Newstead-based Future Fitouts QLD Pty Ltd.
Colour range
The doors installed on this project were supplied in a standard black satin powdercoated finish.
Warranty
12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.
