The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed its premium grade FC1 folding doors to secure the storefront of iconic global casual wear clothing brand, Uniqlo at Melbourne Emporium on Lonsdale Street in the city’s CBD.
Painted in a sleek white powdercoated finish and with the door curtain containing perforated mesh infills, this large size door was designed to suit an opening of 8 metres in width and nearly 4 metres in height. Locking is through a series of seamless up/down locking mechanisms that engage simultaneously into receivers in both the top track and floor.
The renowned Johns Lyng Commercial Builders based in Doncaster near Melbourne served as the project managers for this installation.
