Radiant heaters from Thermofilm Australia were specified for a sustainable home project in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Representing a launch into sustainable design and building by Sovereign Homes, the Beachmere Sustainability Project involved the redevelopment of a modest beach shack into a luxury, eco-friendly home designed to offer long-term efficiency and customer savings, exceeding the requirements for HIA GreenSmart certification.
Sovereign Homes wanted to ensure all the materials and products chosen to be showcased in the home met rigorous standards including being proactively designed to be eco-friendly, and manufactured in an environmentally sound manner.
Thermofilm’s HEATSTRIP Max radiant heaters were chosen for the home’s outdoor dining area. Engineered with a unique high-output, low-glow Incoloy element that saves energy by minimising unnecessary light output, HEATSTRIP Max radiant heaters also have a sleek, unobtrusive profile that perfectly complements the home’s luxury look and feel, while also delivering a durable, corrosion-resistant outdoor heating solution for the beachside location.
An Australian-owned company that has manufactured and supplied heating equipment for more than 25 years, Thermofilm recently won the 2014 Victorian Manufacturer of the Year Award for design and manufacturing excellence.
