HEATSTRIP Classic radiant heaters from Thermofilm Australia were installed recently at Sir Paz Estate located in the famous winegrowing region of the Yarra Valley, near Melbourne.
One of Thermofilm’s latest winter heating projects, the Sir Paz Estate is located on a beautiful 35-acre elevated site, surrounded by orchards and other vineyards. The estate recently opened a Cellar Door, which provides wine and cheese tasting, and also hosts weddings, parties and corporate events.
The venue has a large external terrace with elevated views over the Yarra Valley; until recently, this area could not be used in winter, due to the lack of outdoor heating.
Owner Peter Zapris explained that the challenge was to find an outdoor heating system, which was effective, unobtrusive and high quality since they wanted to maintain the magnificent views.
The Australian designed and engineered Heatstrip Classic radiant heating panels were selected for their stylish and slimline design. Heatstrip Classic also allowed the staff to zone the large area, depending on customer loads. The electric radiant heaters are operated at the push of a button, and run more economically than bottled gas heaters.
