UBIQ will be supplying their innovative flooring product for the landmark development at Randwick racecourse. Brookfield Multiplex has awarded UBIQ the contract to supply INEX>FLOOR for the project.
The construction is on schedule and is expected to be functional for the much anticipated Autumn Carnival.
UBIQ has also partnered with Poly Tek Australia to develop a new low carbon, high performing solution for roadside noise abatement barriers.
UBIQ’s INEX>WALLBOARD has been able to satisfy the stringent requirements of roadside noise barriers for the Queensland Department of Main Roads.
The INEX>WALLBOARD, at only 12mm thick has been able to replace failed solutions made from fibre cement, compressed fibre cement, or even ‘A’ Bond plywood to prove acoustic fence barriers need not be in the form of heavy, cumbersome and expensive concrete panels or high maintenance timber.
UBIQ and Poly Tek Australia have developed a range of factory applied finishes for the new fence barriers including low VOC paint systems, render style coating, anti-graffiti coatings that allow the graffiti to be simply wiped off without damaging the finish below, and real stone laminates.
These acoustic fence panels manufactured by Poly Tek Australia offer urban designers a range of affordable options, all with a fraction of the carbon content of concrete panels.
