Magical makeover for Design 10 Coffs Harbour showroom features NewTechWood

NewTechWood castellation cladding was included in the materials palette for the new Design 10 store in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

Design 10 previously traded as Accent Bath, with the store supplying kitchen and bathroom products to local trades as well as being a selection centre for consumers. As part of the Independent Hardware Group, it was decided to build on this and have display centres to cover a selection of materials for most finishes in new home buildings and link the supply back through their stores. The new branding and showroom design would be consistent throughout the new store chain. Design 10 currently has five stores across New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania with plans to expand nationally.

The new branding and design project uses dark grey cladding/sheeting on most of the buildings, and feature walls of NewTechWood castellation cladding in IPE. The finish is very modern and fits within Design 10’s new brand look and feel.

NewTechWood cladding was supplied for the project by new resellers, Petries Mitre 10 in Coffs Harbour, who offer a complete range of home improvement and hardware products.

The background story 

At the time Design 10 was discussing their renovation needs with Petries Mitre 10, NewTechWood was in discussions with Petries about coming on board as a NewTechWood reseller. With samples and information provided, Design 10 had the opportunity to review NewTechWood products and make comparisons. As a result, NewTechWood’s castellation cladding was selected for all the new Design 10 branches being rebranded.

“We absolutely love the new look of our showroom in Coffs Harbour,” the new Design 10 chain announced recently, complimenting NewTechWood’s castellation cladding, which was part of the magical makeover of the old Accent Bath building.

The final design outcome is stylish and eye-catching. And remember, this composite cladding requires no maintenance – it never needs resealing, staining or painting.
