Created through CSR’s acquisition and merger of Pilkington (AU & NZ) and DMS Glass, Viridian offers new, advanced technology which will allow architects and designers to use glass in different ways.
Driven by the idea of new world glass, Viridian creates a world of light, colour, design and textured effects to reflect a life less ordinary.
In line with increasing regulations on the energy efficiency of building fabrics, Viridian manufactures and promotes energy-efficient and sustainable glass products.
Operating as part of CSR’s Performance Systems Group, which comprises a portfolio of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient building products including Bradford insulation, Bradcore panels, Hebel lightweight concrete and Edmonds ventilation systems, Viridian is backed by the quality, reliability, service and certainty of CSR.
Executive General Manager of the CSR Performance Systems group, John Hodgkinson, says Viridian will redefine the aesthetic and functional use of glass, while its dynamic structure will allow the company to provide unrivalled quality in products and service.
“We want to raise awareness of this versatility in glass, so builders, designers, architects, and end-consumers can gain a new understanding of what a whole range of high-performance glass systems can do.”
“We know the commercial pressures that now exist and we have structured Viridian to respond directly to our customers’ needs ... today and into the future.”
