Thirty-two retractable roof systems from Viva Sunscreens were recently installed at the Riverside Quays Redevelopment at South Bank in the heart of Melbourne’s Entertainment Precinct.
The retractable roof systems cover an area of more then 80 metres wide that is the deck area that over looks the picturesque Yarra River. This unique precinct now offers visitors an ideal alfresco environment.
Viva Sunscreens’ motorised Solidux “Alutecnic” retractable roof systems were specified and installed by the Viva Sunscreens team. Their experienced team worked in synergy with Mirvac Design and Kane Constructions on all aspects of the project, including: project brief, design solution, project management, installation and an ongoing scheduled maintenance program.
Satisfied with the innovative Alutecnic retractable roof system and the support provided by the Viva Sunscreens team, Mirvac has once again specified Viva Sunscreens on their soon to be completed third stage of the Riverside Quays Precinct.
