Waterco Lacron has designed a filtration system to automatically operate at the end of a sewage plant, with pre-filtered water containing high levels of ammonia. Up until now this effluent carried ammonia levels which were far too high to allow the water company to discharge its effluent to a nearby river.
Waterco Lacron created a filtration system which processes 500000 litres per day, reducing ammonia levels below the EU limit of 5 mg per litre. The entire filtration system is totally automated and all water testing is continuously logged, automatically with digital readout and printable history.
