Construction of the second level of The Prince’s Terrace project in Bowden, Adelaide is now complete with work to begin soon on the garages and mews.
The latest defence housing project in Bowden, South Australia is the result of a partnership between Defence Housing Australia and The Prince’s Foundation and Renewal SA to construct The Prince’s Terrace, a key residential development designed to create healthy and sustainable environments for defence members, their families and the broader community.
Designed to suit the local environment and climate conditions, all Defence Housing projects are built with select building materials to minimise impact. All the residences are built to achieve a minimum 6 Star Energy Rating.
Since July 2010, Defence Housing Australia has committed to building homes to a 6 Star (NATHERS) rating while complying with the Australian Government’s Livable Housing Design Guidelines - Silver Level.
The Prince’s Terrace Adelaide will be the first residential design to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Rating from the Green Building Council.
This project is currently under construction using the ZEGO FireFORM, an insulated concrete formwork from ZEGO Building Systems.
