With immediate effect, a new calculation tool is available in 11 languages on the Zumtobel Web portal. QuickCalc is a lighting calculation programme for square rooms with intuitive user interface. Users can carry out calculations directly via the Zumtobel website while sitting at their workstations.
Now that the new software has been integrated into the online product catalogue, the lighting calculation process has been reduced to include but a few steps: Simply select the required luminaire in the online product catalogue and click on the QuickCalc icon. Then enter calculation parameters such as room dimensions, mounting height, height of the useful plane and required level of illuminance. The programme instantly proposes a solution according to the light output ratio method.
What QuickCalc can do:
- Rough calculation of the number of luminaires in square rooms
- Downloading of calculation results and product sheet in pdf format and sending them per e-mail
- Quick search of an article ordered via its article number and automatically adopting it into the calculation programme
- Assessing the average level of illuminance with a given number of luminaires
