Supawood acoustic linings are all prefinished and supplied with proprietary fixing systems. Supawood supply all the components to ensure the acoustic performance is achieved, such as pre-attached IAT acoustic textile on Supacoustic slotted and perforated panels and Supabab backing for SUPASLAT MAXI and SUPAMETAL beam ceilings. Complete systems ensure neither aesthetics nor acoustic performance is compromised in any way.
UNIQUE DEVELOPMENTS
Supawood have developed a unique option called V-slot. The V-slot, as well as enhancing the aesthetics also enhances high frequency absorption, especially in combination with extra bulk insulation. An extremely interesting characteristic which does not show on the test results is that the standard deviation of the absorption co-efficient is extremely low, as the V-slot panels absorb sound equally well from every angle. By comparison, standard slots and perforated panels can be quite directional in their performance.
CERTIFIED ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
By recognising the critical need for noise suppression in the design of modern interiors, Supawood have been chosen by award winning designers and acoustic consultants to ensure that all their products meet the highest standards required. Testing of products in the Supawood range of acoustic linings have been conducted in full reverberation room tests on the complete system, as installed, including the required framing. This means the installed system's absorption characteristics will be the same as the test results. Full test results are readily available to assist with specifying the most appropriate products.
