EXPERIENCE TAKING THE HASSLE AND RISK OUT OF UNIQUE DESIGNS
The experience and expertise provided by hundreds of projects enables Supawood to help successful implementation of exciting designs. Milson Island Recreation Centre is a perfect example. Supawood provided the technical input to ensure flawless curved linings, from the design of the type and position of the supporting substructure to creating and testing full size prototypes in the factory, to co-ordination of deliveries of pallets of flat packed panels by means of a barge to the island site. The end result was that the highly durable, pre-finished and acoustic paneling curved perfectly on-site.
INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
The Ark\\'s successful and efficient achievement of its distinctive design was assisted by a number of innovative solutions from Supawood: a preassembled system for the slatted timber features which eliminated any face fixing of the slats, a variation on the system to achieve the curves required, a screen system and a special finish to create a quickly weathered look.
Cobb & Co Museum used Supacoustic Supaveneer ceilings to provide acoustics and a warm ambience while achieving hidden access to the ceiling cavity. A "Service zone" option created an aesthetically pleasing treatment for the visible services.
Supawood\\'s unique Supafinish SUPACOUSTIC panels provided an economical, acoustic and efficient solution at the Brain and Mind Research Institute.
A GROWING PRODUCT RANGE
Ensuring the product offering meets the needs of their business partners and current trends is a key part of Supawood\\'s vision. Product research and development is a priority for Supawood and by listening to their clients they are continually developing a product range that addresses almost every application.
Supawood products are grouped into five product families: SUPACOUSTIC acoustic panels and kits, SUPALINE solid timber and decorative panels, SUPASLAT linear panels and lightweight beams and screens, SUPATILE accessible ceilings and the \\'new\\' SUPAEXPANCE ceiling system from Extenzo. NEW SUPAEXPANCE PRODUCT FAMILY
In February 2012 Supawood announced the addition to their range, SupaExpance sourced from Extenzo France. SupaExpance is a high quality taut ceiling solution for perfect seamless ceilings in a range of finishes including a superior high-gloss and shapes. SupaExpance is quick and clean to install, maintenance free and removable. SupaExpance suits a wide range of applications including, moisture resistance for pools and spas, energy saving air-conditioning ceilings with no grills or ducts, antimicrobial for clean environments, daylight and backlit features, custom printing and acoustic options.
