CAMO HIDDEN DECK FASTENING SYSTEM - CHANGING THE FACE OF DECKING
The CAMO Hidden Deck Fastening System is the first hidden deck fastening system to easily and affordably attach treated timber, Australian hardwoods, composite or PVC deckboards directly to the substructure creating a beautiful, fastener-free deck surface. The patented CAMO system includes proprietary deck screws, CAMO Marksman tools and CAMO Driver Bits. Together they enable a distinctive side-angle entry that secures solid or grooved DeckBoards directly to the joist, reducing board movement and allowing the screws to be hidden.
While the Marksman tools tend to catch people\\'s attention, the real "magic" of the CAMO system is in the screw. The reverse rake tip removes deck material as it bores, allowing the screw to penetrate the board without splitting and allowing for maximum holding power. How does this benefit you? No pre-drilling is required, and the screws back out easily in the event a board needs to be replaced. A unique trimhead design allows for a less visible point of entry, and a star drive offers more points of contact for better performance and reduces bit slippage and wear.
The versatile CAMO deck screws are available in 48mm (for boards 18-25mm thick) and 60mm (for boards 25-38mm thick) lengths, and in ProTech coated and 316 Stainless Steel, both ACQ compatible. CAMO ProTech deck screws have gone through a 1500 hour salt spray test that is the Australian equivalent Class 4, that itself is the highest classification decking screw on the market. We also have our black coated 316 Stainless for locations near extreme coastal regions or have a salt water swimming pool with a deck around it.
CAMO Marksman tools position CAMO deck screws to penetrate the deckboard and also provide automatic 4.7mm spacing between boards so no spacers are required! The Marksman Pro TM and Marksman Pro-NB are contractor grade, heavy-duty tools, that feature a clamping mechanism to grip the deckboard, and dual screw guides that enable both sides of the board to be fastened with single tool placement. The Marksman Pro fits any DeckBoards measuring 127mm-147mm wide, 18mm-38mm high, while the Marksman Pro-NB is designed for narrow DeckBoards measuring 80mm-123mm wide, 18mm-38mm high.
