Commercial interior Design & Project Management company, Clockwork Projects , has recently revamped commercial bathrooms in Sussex Street, Sydney.
Clockwork Projects’ client, a large holding company of offices in Sydney needed to refurbish the building bathrooms.
The holding company were were unable to attract the right tenants and yields due to outdated bathrooms and finishes through out the offices. Interior Designer, Duncan McEwen was appointed to create a new look for the tired looking office floor.
The bathrooms were old and outdated and although clean they seemed constantly dirty. Old grey brown grout and outdated bathroom accessories seemed to throw prospective tenants.
The clients design brief to Clockwork Projects was to create a clean, inexpensive and modern look. The Clockwork Team got straight to work as the deadline was short and it was essential to finish the project in record time for a new potential incoming tenant.
Interior Designer, Duncan McEwen's comments were: “The client wanted very little colour and wanted to enhance visually the size of the bathroom. As there is no natural light we decided to use a white wall tile however, one that was interesting due to its shape and size. For the floor tiles a more conservative stone tile was used and enhanced with a timber laminate for the cubicle doors. Cearstone for the bench tops and Grohe taps. New hand dryers and Coroma vanities and toilet pans were introduced.”
