Metabo has manufactured power tools for the professional worldwide since 1924.
Metabo offers a range of over two hundred different machines in over 100 different markets world-wide.
In 2008 Metabo has introduced its 355mm (14”) Cut-Off Saw, the CS 23-355 featuring increased power, safety and performance, the ideal combination.
The 2,300 watt motor produces 4,000 rpm and features changeable brushes, increasing the longevity of the tool life. The motor is light, but powerful delivering more torque and power.
The CS 23-355 cuts Ø65mm steel bar, Ø125mm steel pipe, Ø105 x 130mm steel section. Adjustable cutting depth restricts the depth of cut into the material, so that it is suitable for set cuts and increased safety.
The adjustable vice angle sets the angle from -15° to +45°, increasing the machine’s capacity and adaptability for numerous applications.
The reinforced, warp-resistant base plate is made of strong steel with additional braces to ensure continuous accurate cuts and a longer tool life.
The spindle lock is ideally positioned to make cutting wheel changes much easier. The quick release clamp gives a positive strong lock onto the material plus the material can now be changed fast reducing downtime while maintaining safety.
The CS 23-355 weighs only 17kg and is easily transportable to any where due to the built-in transport handle for easy lifting. The solid, visible transport lock is simple to change when moving or setting up.
The CS 23-355 has all the features required to suit any job making it ideal for site work such as fit-outs, construction, production plants, workshops and factories.
