Case study: TMRW HOME, Coburg, Melbourne

Located just over six kilometres from Melbourne’s bustling CBD, Hütt Homes’s Coburg project sees a narrow plot of land transformed into a contemporary oasis that’s sympathetically anchored within its urban context by the principles of passive housing.

Designed by Melbourne Design Studios, this striking residence was brought to life by the visionary duo – Marc and Felicity Bernstein, who are both the home’s owners and the Director and CEO of Hütt Homes. The project is their personal ode to the fundamentals of sustainable design, which has been underpinning the work of the wife-and-husband team for a long time.

The angular volumes of this small-scale residence, gently mirroring the geometry of its train line-adjacent surroundings, have been mindfully designed to consider all facets of sustainable design and lifestyle.
