In Australia, one in six Australians, or about 4.4 million people, live with a disability. Despite the known benefits of inclusive educational settings and the fact that our population is rapidly ageing as a whole, conventional design methods and lack of suitable equipment has meant that the needs of people with disability are often not met in mainstream educational, work and aged care settings.
