SimBoard, the latest innovation from Simmonds Lumber is an Oriented Strand Board (OSB) made using 100% pinewood sourced from sustainable forests. OSB is one of the most widely specified structural boards for timber frame buildings across the world, especially in USA and Europe. OSB has replaced plywood and particleboard in various applications.

The pinewood used in SimBoard comes from the thinning of PEFC/FSC certified sustainable forests. An Oriented Strand Board is manufactured by gluing the strands together with formaldehyde-free binders, unlike particleboard, which is made from small wood particles and sawdust.

SimBoard OSB can also be used for food packaging applications.
