Wonderglas GC GRP sheeting adds a glow to the Icehouse facade

Wonderglas GC, a UV protected glass reinforced polyester (GRP) sheeting product from Ampelite Australia was installed on the facade of the National Ice Sports Centre in Melbourne.

Located in the Waterfront City precinct of Melbourne’s Docklands, the Icehouse, Australia’s national centre for ice sports, is a high quality public recreational facility. The Icehouse is also the new home of the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (established by the Australian Olympic Committee to train elite winter sports athletes).

The Icehouse is an important addition to Melbourne’s excellent sporting infrastructure as well as an exciting public recreational and entertainment facility.

The entire building is clad in a translucent Wonderglas GC Cool-lite Supersix profile facade that glows at night.
