A standout piece is Hanabi, a Best of NeoCon 2024 Silver Award winner, inspired by the captivating collage technique of Brooklyn-based artist Elodie Blanchard. Hanabi is intricately crafted from repurposed scraps of textiles, plastic bags, mylar balloons, and snack packaging, layered and stitched together to create an artwork that oscillates between the realistic and the abstract, with vibrant colours and diverse patterns.

Derived from the Japanese word ‘Hanabi’, meaning fireworks, the colour names evoke various firework shapes – Crossette, Dahlia, Willow, Waterfall, and Silver Dragon. The patterns are digitally printed on polyurethane and topped with a 100% silicone layer, preserving the intricate details and richness of the original artwork.
